Rights of patients

Our patients have a right on the best treatment,following state-of-the art medical scientific insights.

We will treat her/him with compassion, respect and courtesy

Professional secrecy will be applied in all aspects of information concerning the patient.

All documents and informations will be delivered to the patient's general practitioner or any other medical practitioner on patient's request

Patients have a right on information about surgical procedures and treatments in an understandable way and will not be subjected to them without their consent.

Patients have the right to refuse treatments and to leave the hospital against the doctor's advice. In that case, the patient will sign a declaration stating the risks incurred.

The patient has a right on continuity in care. We will be giving continuity of care within the Belgian territory at all times. We might establish a consultation once a month in London and inform our patients of this possibility as soon as it is available.

Patient's general practitioner will be informed about the treatment or operation by Corpus+ and only if patients allow this.
