You as a patient, far from home According to the book "If Disney ran your hospital" the author Fred Lee talks about what is most important to patients in hospitals. As his wife works as a nurse, it wasn''t difficult to review comments of patients when they described the behaviors that made them love the staff at the hospital. It's all about caring. Top down, the most important behaviours were : 1.compassion 2.courtesy 3.competence. When remembering a service -any service- few things count more than the way it has been delivered. At the heart of our service, these qualities have to be brought to our patients in as perfect a way as possible. Competence is a given. But we can give ample evidence of our competence too. We had time to build it in 22 years of service Price is important so we keep an eye on it. But we are not interested in low price offerings, because we don't like to cut corners, especially when your safety and the results are at stake Let us therefore explain how we see patients and how we care for them, in a Belgian tradition of hospitality. |

Breast Augmentation : What is really important A breast augmentation is considered a routine operation nowadays. But there are a few tricks that distinguishes the excellent from the average job. 1.Capsular fibrosis. Breast having an unnatural rounded aspect, painful and hard on touch ? Most likely it's capsular fibrosis, caused by an excessive inner scar tissue that forces the prosthesis into a ballshaped form. Scar tissue is a very active tissue containing smooth muscle cells. It's those muscle cells which do all the work in trying to expel or contain the prosthesis. 2.Putting the prosthesis before the muscle. There is no reason to put the prosthesis behind the pectoral muscle in a futile effort to mask a possible capsular fibrosis. The best place for a prosthesis is behind the mammary gland and before the muscle. This causes a lot of problems, such as bleeding en weakening of the muscle. See in our brochure why You should look out for those two potential problems and how we perform augmentation surgery. |
